In this video, a mother of two sons with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy discusses the fact that all trials involve some measure of risk. She used her understanding of the trial’s endpoints to evaluate her risk tolerance and set her expectations about outcomes. “This is being studied because we don’t know if it works.” She also discusses risk in relation to the phase of the trial and safety trials.
