Grieving with Others

There will be times when you want or need to grieve alone, but at different points in your grieving process you may need or want to bring others into your circle. Learning to grieve with others—even family members—may come naturally or may take practice. In fact, certain communities and traditions anticipate this and have specific practices around communal grief. These may or may not be helpful to you. Finding ways to communicate your thoughts and feelings will help others help you.
