From Neonatologist to Palliative Care Physician

Dr. Major-Kincade describes the origin and evolution of her life journey to becoming a neonatologist: “I wanted to be the kind of doctor that could take care of the babies that could fit in your hand.” and then on to palliative care fellowship and leadership: “I had a gift for sitting with families who were going to be saying hello and goodbye. I had a gift for embracing silence for families who were navigating really hard choices.” and then wanting to follow the children who go home and learn how to talk to kids.
