Caring for the Self and Family

It is no secret that having a child with serious illness adds additional stress to and strain on the entire family. In addition to worrying about their child who is sick, parents worry – a LOT – about how to best help their other children cope.  Division of labor, maintaining stability – financially and emotionally-  talking to your other children and finding little ways to care for yourself are all important considerations when caring for a child with serious illness.
